- Carrier Carrying Capacity: The SC400 carrier is designed to safely carry 400 lbs
- Hitch Weigh Limit: Most Class III hitches are rated for 500 lbs - Most Class IV hitches are rated for 1,000 lbs
- Vehicle Hauling Capacity: Your hauling weight may be limited by your vehicle's capacity to carry a load
- Will not work with Class II or smaller receivers
- Some vehicles may require air shocks or heavier springs to stiffen up the suspension to prevent sagging
- Please check with your dealer to find out your vehicle's carrying capacity
- NOT recommended for tow-behind trailers including 5th wheel trailers and camping trailers
- NOT recommended for use with hitch adapters/extensions

- 1. SLIDE ANTI-TILT LOCKING DEVICE TIGHT UP AGAINST HITCH RECEIVER, INSERT HITCH PIN OR PINCH BOLT AND TIGHTEN BOLTS USING 17MM WRENCH.
- 2. INSERT CARRIER INTO HITCH AND INSTALL THE PINCH-BOLT ASSEMBLY. (BOLT-> SLEEVE-> HITCH-TUBE -> WASHER-> NUT)
- 3. TIGHTEN HEX HEAD PIVOT BOLT WITH 10mm ALLEN WRENCH TO ELIMINATE SIDE TO SIDE WOBBLE OF THE HITCH CARRIER. DO NOT OVER-TIGHTEN. IF BOLT IS OVER-TIGHTENED CARRIER WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PIVOT OR SWING UP.
- 4. ADJUST LEVELER BOLT TO ALIGN PIN HOLES. PIN SHOULD BE ABLE TO BE REMOVED/ INSTALLED WITHOUT BINDING IF PROPERLY ADJUSTED. TIGHTEN JAM NUTS WHEN PROPERLY ALIGNED USING 17mm OR 11/16" WRENCH.
- 5. REMOVE PIN TO FOLD CARRIER VERTICAL. REPLACE PIN IN TOP PIN HOLE TO SECURE CARRIER IN THE VERTICAL POSITION.
